Today, Surge is a full-service short-term rental company offering management, investment brokerage, and interior design across 12 markets in Texas, Tennessee, Florida, and Arizona. We still cap our portfolio. We still don't lock owners into long-term contracts. And our founder still manages his own properties through Surge.

Founded in Houston
Surge was born out of frustration with existing management options. Our founder started managing his own properties and quickly saw the gap between what owners needed and what was available.
Expanded to Texas Markets
Grew to 6 Texas markets — Houston, Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Galveston — building city-specific teams with deep local expertise.
Added Brokerage & Design
Launched STR brokerage and interior design divisions, becoming a full-service short-term rental company. Investors could now buy, furnish, and manage through one partner.
Multi-State Expansion
Expanded to Nashville, Scottsdale, and 4 Florida markets. Reached 12 markets across 4 states while maintaining portfolio caps to protect service quality.
